Msn Messenger 2009 doesn't come with uninstaller, so to uninstall:
1. Click the start button
2. Go to run
3. Paste this >>>>>> msiexec /x {0AAA9C97-74D4-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}
It will uninstall itself...
If the above method ain't working, please use this ZapMessenger.

Thats great. :) One problem though... I got the message "you can only uninstall a program that is already installed" (approximately - I dont have have an english vista so that is a translation). Would you know how to get around that problem? Obviously it's installed, so how come the system doesn't know about that? :S
Ok i'm not sure how to solve your problem, but you can try the ZapMessenger program. If it still persist then you have to delete it manually.
Before you install the new Live Messenger, please make sure that 2.0 NET Framework is installed in your machine. I will post the ZapMessenger link under this entry ASAP. Thanks for dropping by.
